Social Skills Group for Children, 2nd–4th Grade
Our Social Skills Group is designed for children in 2nd through 4th grade who would benefit from extra support building confidence, strengthening friendships, and developing positive communication skills. Through fun, engaging activities, children learn practical social skills in a safe, encouraging environment where they can practice with peers and receive guidance from a licensed mental health professional.
Using games, role-playing, group discussions, and hands-on activities, participants develop skills such as starting conversations, making and keeping friends, active listening, understanding social cues, managing emotions, solving everyday problems, handling conflict respectfully, and working as part of a team.
This small group helps children build confidence, improve emotional awareness, and strengthen the skills they need to succeed at school, at home, and in everyday social situations. Each session provides opportunities to practice new skills in real time while celebrating individual strengths and progress.
Whether your child is shy, struggles with friendships, has difficulty reading social situations, or simply wants to become a more confident communicator, this group offers a supportive space to learn, grow, and connect with others.
